Birthday cards

Hello everyone,
today I have a few cards for you. At the moment I am totally into cardmaking and I don't seem to get enough of it.

For the first card I used some Ranger Distress Ink "Hickory smoke" and the Tim Holtz Stencil "Flourish" to color my background. Afterwards I smushed my Versamark ink pad all over the stencil and embossed it with clear embossing powder.
For the sentiment I stamped onto a piece of cardstock with Ranger Distress Ink "Peacock feather" and also embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I die cut it and adhered it to the card front.
To finish off my card I die cut a flower and colored with Peacock feather" and decorated it with Ranger Liquid Pearls.

For the second card I planned a more classy look. The golden glitter cardstock should take the center stage. That's why I just die cut the flower die from plain white cardstock and stamped the sentiment with Versafine Ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then adhered the golden cardstock between the cardbase and the card front.

For the third card I played around with the Impression Obsession "Birthday Words" background stamp. To begin with I colored a piece of cardstock with My Favorite Things "Orange Fizz" and then stamped it with My Favorite Things "Lemon Drop". But because these are dye inks, you could not really see the yellow on the orange and in my head I imagined it a bit better looking. Thats why I stamped it again with Versamark, so you can see the text. I did not like the background for a whole card, because there is so much going on and that's why I cut the background in half and then adhered it to my card base. To hide the cutting line I used a self-sticking fabric border to both sides. To finish off my card I die cut the "Happy Birthday" sentiment and adhered it also.
As a result of cutting the background in half, I got two cards out of it.
