    Handmade with Two Sleeping Cats

    Hello everyone,
this is my last card before I will go to the hospital tomorrow. Since I needed some time to prepare myself for the hospital, it is a really simple card.

For the background I colored a piece of Bristol Cardstock with my Distress Inks. In the lower part, I made some clouds with the "Mini Cloud Edges Stencil" by My Favorite Things and blended them together with my sky, where I used "Broken China", "Mermaid Lagoon" and "Seedless Preserves". For my stars, I splattered a bit of Copic Opaque White onto my background.
Then I stamped my images onto a piece of Neenah Cardstock and colored them with my Copics. Afterwards I decorated them with a bit of Glossy Accents and adhered them onto my card with some foam tape. To finish off my card, I stamped my sentiment and traced it with a black Glaze Pen.
Aren't the hot air balloons gorgeous?

    Hello everyone,
today I made another card, that I like to give away.
For my background I stamped my images from the Altenew "Persian Motifs" set with some Versamark ink onto a piece of watercolor paper and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I colored the images with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.
To finish off my card I die cut my sentiment with the "Stay Positive" dies from a piece of foiled toner sheet and adhered it on my background.
At last I glued everything together with a piece of blue cardstock onto my cardbase.

    Hello everyone,
these cards are very near and dear to me. Since I was diagnosed with cancer, I read a lot in Facebook groups where other patients or their relatives share their experiences. Often there are people who have to suffer a setback. That's why I thought that maybe some would need something to bring a smile to them and so I want to give them away.

For my first card I covered a piece of cardstock with the Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in "Pure Platinum". Then I stamped the flowers from the WPlus9 "Modern Peonies" set with Versamark ink onto a piece of watercolor paper, heat embossed it with white embossing powder and colored them with my Schmincke watercolors.
From a foiled toner sheet I die cut a border with the Hero Arts Infinity Dies and also die cut my sentiment with the "Stay Positive" dies by Alexandra Renke. To finish off my card I adhered everything together onto my background.

    Hello everyone,
today I made a wedding card. After a long time my order from WPlus9 with the "Kind Soul" set finally arrived and I had to test it.
For the background I covered two pieces of cardstock with the Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in "Pure Platinum". From one of those pieces I die cut a heart with the Memory Box "Fragile Heart" dies and glued it onto a piece of vellum. Then I adhered it to the other piece of cardstock and then put it onto a piece of pink cardstock.
With the Sunny Studio "Stitched Hearts" dies I die cut a few hearts from a piece of foiled toner sheet and from the same sheet I die cut my sentiment with the "Alles Liebe" dies by Charlie und Paulchen. Afterwards I adhered everything onto my background.
I stamped the flower image from the "Kind Soul" set by WPlus9 onto another piece of cardstock and colored it with my Copics and fuzzy cut it with my scissors.
At last I glued it onto my background.

    Hello everyone,
today I made a birthday card for you. For a long time I have been waiting for the right project to use the beautiful "Magnolias for Her" stamp set by Altenew. Now here it is.
From a previous card I had a piece of cardstock lying around, which I had die cut with the Hero Arts "Reef Border and Frame Fancy Dies". I colored it with the Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Mother of Pearl and stamped my sentiment with some Versafine ink onto it and heat embossed it with some clear embossing powder. Afterwards I glued it onto a piece of magenta colored cardstock.
With Versamark ink I stamped my magnolia images onto a piece of watercolor paper and heat emboessed it with white embossing powder. To color them I used the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. After everything dried I fuzzy cut my flowers with my scissors.
To finish off my card I colored the magenta cardstock with my glitter pen.

    Hello everyone,
today I had enough time for my first try with Deco Foil. Since I have no Minc Machine or Lamonator and I didn't want to buy one, I wanted to try if foiling would work with my transfer press, the HappyPress 3. After all the transfer press works with heat and pressure and that is exactly what is needed to apply foil, so I thought chances are high that it will work fine. I adjusted my transfer press to a temperature of 120°C and pressed the foil for 10 seconds onto my toner sheets and it worked as a charm. In a lot of videos I saw it looked like when using a Minc Machine or a Laminator the foil sometimes would warp, with the transfer press that was not the case. And because it worked so nicely I will definitely do this again.

    Hello everyone,
right now I have a hard time and needed something to distract me for a few hours. Therefore the new My Favorite Things stamp set "Fierce Friends" and "Jungle Gym" came just right in.

For the first card I chose the big image from the My Favorite Things "Jungle Gym" set and stamped it on a piece of cardstock. Then I colored it with my Copic Markers and mounted it onto my background. The background I made with my Distress Inks and the new My Favorite Things "Mini Cloud Edges Stencil". For my sentiment I chose a stamp from the "All About You" set by My Favorite Things. Since I had no matching stamp for the "you" text, I wrote it myself with my Sakura Glaze Pen.

    Hello everyone,
today I made a small penguin card with the My Favorite Things "Penguins in Paradise" set. Usually I mix my stamp sets, but this time I only used this one.
For the background I used a piece of pattern paper, because I thought that it really went well with this summery stamp set. With the Lawn Fawn "Large Dotted Rechtangle Stackables" I die cut another piece of the same cardstock, but this time a used the backside so that it matches the background perfectly. With the Distress Oxide Inks I made the sandy hills and colored the sky with my Copics to add a little bit of depth to it. Before I adhered everything together with some foam tape, I stamped my sentiment on the background.
Then I stamped my penguins and the palm tree onto a piece of white cardstock, die cut them and colored them with my Copics.

    Hello everyone,
today I have a slider card with the cute "Meow You Doin?" set by Lawn Fawn for you. I made this card after a video by Lawn Fawn from their YouTube channel.
From a piece od design paper I die cut my slider track with the "Slide On Over Circles" by Lawn Fawn. Next I stamped and die cut my kitty, the yarn ball and the little cat bed from a piece of white cardstock and colored them with my Copics.
Afterwards I die cut a circle with "Large Dotted Circle Stackables" by Lawn Fawn and stamped my sentiment from the WPlus9 "Curious Forest Friends" set on it.
At last I stamped to little hearts next to the sentiment and covered them with Glossy Accents. Then I put my card together with two layers of foam tape in between both panels. I also adhered the die cut slider track back onto my card, so that it matches the rest of the card and no white cardstock is showing.

    Hello everyone,
today I made a card with the Chibitronics Chibi Lights. I wanted to try them out for a long time and thought a wedding card might be a good opportunity.
First I die cut a heart from a piece of cardstock with the My Favorite Things "Heart Shaker Window & Frame" dies. I colored it with my Copics and adhered it onto another piece of cardstock.
Onto that I put down my copper tape and a little flap for my battery. In the middle of the heart I put my red Chibi Light in a way that both contacts would touch one of the two copper strips. After I tested that my light works, I adhered a double layer of foam tape to the background panel.
On another piece of cardstock I stamped the heart from the Lawn Fawn "Push Here" set and die cut it. The stamped images of my cats however I had to fuzzy cut with my scissors, since I stamped the little hat and the bow directly onto them and could not use their coordinating dies.
On a piece of vellum I stamped my sentiment and the big heart with Versamark and heat embossed it with some embossing powder.
Then I put everything together and adhered my front panel to my backpanel with the Chibi Light.

    Hello everyone,
today I made two more cards with the great Hero Arts May Kit for you.

For the background of the first card, I used the stencil which comes with the kit together with my Distress Oxide Inks and the Dreamweaver Pearlescent Embossing Paste. From a piece of cardstock I die cut my frame with the Hero Arts "Reef Border and Frame Fancy Dies" and adhered it to my background panel. With StazOn "Jet Black" I stamped my sentiment directly onto my background. Then I glued down my little fish, the algae and my mermaid onto the frame. To finish off my card I added some glitter with my clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

    Hello everyone,
today I made a simple birthday card. I absolutely had to try out the new Altenew "Cube Builder" stencil, because I think you can make wonderful backgrounds with it.
First I fixated my stencil with a piece of Micropore Tape onto my cardstock. Then I colored the paper with my first color. Afterwards I turned my stencil around (so that the former upper side was now on the paper) and positioned it that way that both of the sidesof the cube meet and applied my second color. To make the last side of my cube, I rotated the stencil 45° and applied my last color.
to finish off my card, I stamped my sentiment with Versamark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I cut  my cardstock into the shape of a little banner.

    Hello everyone,
today I have a small little shaker card for you with the new My Favorite Things "Lovable Leopards" set.
First I die cut a shaker window with the My Favorite Things "Rectangle Peek-A-Boo Window" and glued a piece of Heat Resistant Acetate behind the window. Afterwards I stamped my little leopard with the My Favorite Things "Black Hybrid Ink", colored him with Copics and die cut him. I glued him onto my card so that he hides a bit of my shaker window. Then I die cut everything with the "Framed Tags Chelsea" by Mama Elephant and stamped my sentiment and the little paws from the Mama Elephant "Purrfect Pair" set with Versafine ink onto my cardfront.
For my shaker I colored a piece of cardstock in My Favorite Things "Limeade" and stamped over it with Hero Arts "Pine" and the Simon Says Stamp "Leaves Background". I filled my shaker with some sequins from Little Things by Lucy's Cards.
At last I glued everything onto a piece of green cardstock and adhered it onto my cardbase.

    Hello everyone,
today I made a card from scraps of other cards. From another card I had some left over squares, which I die cut using the Lawn Fawn " Outside In Stitched Square Stackables". These I stamped with the Mama Elephant "Little Cat Agenda" and "Little Dog Agenda" stamps. I adhered them onto a background made of two different cardstocks from Tedi. I die cut the sentiment with the Rayher "Herzlichen Glückwunsch" dies and colored them with copics to match the colors of the orange paper strip.

    Hello everyone
today I made a card with my new Finetec and Gansai Tambi Colors. For a long time I thought about buying them, but then I just broke down and gave in. And what should I say? I absolutely love them.
I stamped the "Beautiful Bouquet: Dahlia" stamp by WPlus9 onto a piece of black cardstock and embossed it with transparent embossing powder. Afterwards I colored the image with the Finetec Pearlescent Colors. To finish the image off, I adhered a few of the Simon Says Stamp sequins.
The border was die cut from the Mama Elephant "Madison Avenue Framed Tag" Set  and the sentiment from the Pink and Main "Hello Dies". I colored both die cuts with the Gansai Tambi Pearl Colors.

    Hello everyone,
today I made a card with the cute "Pawsome" Set by Waffle Flower. When I saw it, I immediately thought about one of my friends and her dog and she would probably like this. I hope I see her again soon, so I can give her this card.
I stamped my images onto a piece oft cardstock and colored the little doggies with Copic Markers. Therefor I stamped the bow and the cake first and then masked them off with my Molotow Masking Pen. After the masking fliud was dry I stamped the dogs over it. When everything was completely dry, I removed the masking fluid. From another piece of cardstock, I die cut three squares with the Lawn Fawn "Outside In Stitched Square Stackables". Unfortunately the last one was a bit off.
This time I only used one layer of foam tape to adhere my shaker onto my matching Tedi Design Paper, that way the sequins won't move as much.
Then I glued it all on my card base.

    Hello everyone,
for these treasures I had to wait really long. Coincidentally I saw the contents of the Hero Arts May Kit and immediately knew, that I had to buy the set. Although there are a lot of mermaid stamps, but these are more of the chubby and small mermaid kind. In this set the mermaids have more natural proportions.
So I ordered in good conscience at Hero Arts and also ordered some cardstock at Simon Says Stamp. Unfortunately my Simon Says Stamp package got stolen out of our hallway, where my neighbor put it for me to get it. So I really panicked, when the delivery status said "delivered", but my package wasn't there. Fortunately it was delivered to the customs office and they send it to me a few days later. And that was how I got my May Kit.

    Hello everyone,
today I was shopping and I extended my collection of Copics, because even with all my colors I'm always missing the right one. But with all these colors in my stash I often loose the overview over which colors I have and how they look on a piece of cardstock. That's why I build a color table in Excel. There I not only write down the name and the number, I also write down how many markers of a specific color I have (unfortunately I already bought some Copics twice) and what kind of marker they are.
That way I can always choose the matching color without trying it out on a scrap piece of paper and checking if the combination is ok. To prevent the color swatches from getting dirty, I put them in a plastic pocket. For everyone wondering where the rest of the colors, e.g the earth tones, are I made them double sided ;)

And to always know which colors I'm missing while shopping, I put a copy in my Google Drive, so that I can always have a look with my Smartphone.

    Hello  everyone,
my organizing craze went to the second round today. After I put all my dies onto some magnetig storage sheets, I will do the same for my stamps and their coordinating dies today.

If I buy a stamps set, I normally buy the coordinating dies with it. I prefer die cutting my images over cutting them with my scissors, i just find it more practical. Uo to now I just squeezed the package with the dies into the package of the stamps, but that often led to the tearing of the stamp package. That's why I bought the "Stix2 A4 Magnetic Storage Sheets" at Dani Peuss. On the one side these sheets have a dark magnetix surface and on the other side a white surface onto which the stamps can be stuck.
With my paper trimmer I cut them to the right size and stuck my stamps and dies onto it. In order to see how the stamps look, I kept the original printed transparent sheet, even though the stamps are now mirror-inverted to their images on the sheet. In exchange I now have everything together in one place and don't tear the packages.

    Hello everyone,
today I don't have a card, but instead a quick tip on storing dies. I belong to the people, who like to keep their dies in their original packages and therefor just don't want to use a storage box with magnetic plates. Due to this I was really happy when I saw this video by Mission Ordnung .

In this video, the magnetic sheets with paper coating are mentioned as an cheap alternative to some more expensive magnetig shims. So I immediately went to the Tedi and bought a bunch of these, because I was already looking for ages for something like this. For the price of 1,50€ you get two A5 sized sheets. I glued them onto some Comic Boards  and trimmed them to the right size. That way they have a nice stability and I can see what is in the package.

    Hello everyone,
here I have a quick card for you, since I absolutely had to try out my new Taylored Expressions Embossing Folder.
I took a  a piece of blue Cardstock which I had lying around. Onto that I adhered a piece of white cardstock which I died with my Gummiapan "Stitched Circles" and which was big enough for the little hedgehog from the Penny Black "Smile All Day" set to fit in. I stamped my sentiment onto a banner I die cut with the Lawn Fawn "Fancy Folded Banners" set and colored it with the Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Brush Pen. To finish off my card I added some seqions by Pretty Pink Posh.

    Hello everyone,
today I made a shaker card with "The Cat's Meow" set, which is part of the new release by Mama Elephant. When I saw this set, I immediately fell in love with it and knew I had to buy it.
The frame for the shaker window was die cut with the Mama Elephant "Madison Avenue Framed Tag" dies. For the balloons I grabbed the Avery Elle "Letter Balloon Dies" set.

First I colored the cats and all letters. Afterwards I placed the cats behind the frame die cut und cut off the overhanging pieces of paper. Because I wanted to have my cats in front of the shaker mechanism, I glued my piece of acetate behind them.
For my background I stamped a piece of cardstock with the My Favorite Things "Bold Diagonal Stripes" in Hero Arts "Charcoal" bestempelt. Before I adhered the background to the shaker I put some sequins by Neat & Tangled in.
The finished shaker was then glued to the onto the card base, which I colored with Ranger "Broken China" on the front of the card base.
To finish off my card, I covered the die cut and colored letters with Glossy Accents and put them onto my card. With a fine marker I added the strings for the balloons.

    Hello everyone,
Father's Day nears and therefore I want to make his day extra special and show him that I think about him with a hadmade card.
I die cut a heart with the Sunny Studio Stanzformen "Stitched Hearts" and glued a piece of Tedi Design Paper behind that. I purposely wanted to make a modest and simple card, because it still is for a man. That's why I just added the sheep with the heart and added a little bit of Ranger Glossy Accents for a bit of shine. To finish my card of I added the sentiment on the front of the card.

    Hello everyone,
today I have made three cards with the Penny Black "Smile All Day" set. I think this set absolutely gorgeous and really cute. It is so detailled and playful.

The first card is relatively simple. For the background I put some Frogtape around a piece of cardstock and then colored it with Ranger Distress Ink. Afterwards I stamped my images an some cardstock and colored them with Copics. To finish off my card I adhered my stamped images onto the card and added my sentiment.

    Hello everyone,
today I made a wedding card for some friends of mine. I used the bunny pair of the Mama Elephant "Honey Bunny" set, which I die cut and colored with my Copic Markers. I added them to my stitched heart, which I die cut with the second largest heart from the "Stitched Hearts" by Sunny Studio and also colored with my Copics.
The frame was made from another piece of cardstock I die cut and on which I stamped the My Favorite Things "Bold Diagonal Stripes" in Hero Arts "Charcoal". Behind this frame I glued my piece of Heat Resistant Acetate and embossed my sentiment onto it.
To complete my card, I put two layers of foam tape on my frame and mounted it on my card, after I put my sequins in the middle of the card.

    Hello everyone,
today I made a card for a dear colleague, who leaves our company. Because this card is for a man, I
didn't want it to be that playful but instead more maskuline.
I thought really long about what kind of theme the card should have. Maybe flowers? Or something more neutral? Finally I thought that I was making my own image. And what other image could I have choosen than the robot for which we developed software, the LBR iiwa by KUKA.

So I looked for reference photos in the internet and drew my little robot. Midway I thought that it would be pretty cool if the robot could actually move his arm. That's why I copied his upper arm and cut the original upper arm off. With a brad that I had lying around, I combined the upper and the lower robot arm. Because the brass was originally red, I just embossed it with silver embossing powder.
For the background I colored a piece of cardstock with the Simson Says Stencil "Diagonal Stripes" and Ranger Distress Ink "Hickory smoke" onto which I stamped my sentiment from the Dani Peuss Klartext stamp set "Alles Gute". The other half of the sentiment I embossed with white embossing powder on a piece of black cardstock.
I glued the background onto another piece of cardstock which I die cut and colored with the Copic Marker YR04 "Chrome Orange" so it matches the robot perfect.
Then I glued everything onto my card base.

    Hello everyone,
today I made another card with the Zig Clean Color Real Brushes. I love them really and it is so easy to color with them. The colors are so vibrant and I like that as well.
For this card I stamped my image on watercolor paper with Versamark and embossed it with Ranger Embossing Powder. Then I colored the image and die cut it with the Lawn Fawn "Large Dotted Rectangle Stackables".
For my sentiment I die cut a banner with the "Fancy Folded Banners" set by Lawn Fawn and colored it with my copics.
